Casa Largo faces west over the bay of Lagos and towards Sagres and the setting sun, enjoying magnificent 180o views from various terraces at different levels, set up for eating outdoors or just chilling. A flower and plant covered driveway leads guests to the beautiful Villa Edmundo. The villa shares its electric gates with another property, but is otherwise private.

The villa boasts an unrivalled position on the cliffs above Praia da Oura beach. The beach can be accessed from the villa's garden via stairs. Please note that access to this beach can be difficult for those with poor mobility (nearby St Eulalia beach which is a short drive has better access).

The view from Edmundo is truly breath-taking. Various rooms have sea views including the living room, the large terrace and garden. When opening the patio doors, guests can enjoy the gentle sea breeze and the sound of the waves down below.

The living room is stylish and comfortable and provides access to the spacious terrace. From the lounge, an arch leads to the kitchen which has a breakfast room. All bedrooms have windows that open onto the garden and pool area.

It is hard to believe that this villa is just a short walk from Santa Eulalia with its variety of restaurants and bars. Some of these are visible from parts of the garden, whilst other parts offer complete privacy. The popular Areias de Sao Joao is also nearby, making this a good choice for groups with teenagers. On the other hand, why not choose this villa simply for its scenic position.

The pool is small at about 5m x 3m approx and kidney-shaped with a ladder for access and a jacuzzi. The garden has lawn, flowers and shrubs, and a steep path leads down to the beach. Due to they layout of the garden, small children should be supervised at all times in the outdoor areas. Whilst the garden is not large, the superb location and views make up for that. The hot water system is solar. There is an alarm and electric gate.

Laid out over three floors in the resort of Encosta Do Lago, Quinta do Lago, next to the beach and lake, with some of the finest restaurants within walking distance and lots for the children to do, this villa really does have it all!

The lake within just a short stroll has an abundance of watersports to offer and Encosta do Lago itself has a fantastic communal pool area and tennis courts available for your use free of charge. The villa boasts a lovely sunny outdoor pool (6 m x 10 m), a heated indoor pool (8 m x 5 m - included in the rate) as well as a sauna and Turkish bath (charges apply for the latter only).

The master bedroom on the first floor features a large en-suite bathroom and glorious views across Quinta do Lago. There is an additional bedroom with en-suite on this floor.

The main living areas and three further bedrooms can be found on the middle floor including a large designer kitchen, which is a great area for socializing, and the dining area just off the kitchen leading to the sun terrace. Two of the bedrooms on this floor are en-suite and the third has use of the shower room situated down the hallway.

On the lower ground level you have a twin room with en-suite bathroom and patio doors leading to a small courtyard, a garage, indoor heated pool, games room and 'spa' facilities including fully equipped gymnasium including plasma TV, sauna and Turkish steam room (extra cost for the steam room) and access to the garden with outdoor pool.

The exterior of this villa is every bit as impressive as the interior with luxury sun loungers and a choice of dining or relaxation spots to enjoy, depending on where the sun is shining!

Villa Ferragudo is a stunning and well-appointed villa with views towards the ocean and over the Arado river, with spectacular sunsets towards Sagres.

Compact but well equipped with beach-chic style interiors, everything is on one level. There are three bedrooms and a lovely pool area from where one can watch the passing yachts and fishing boats, whilst casually turning the catch of the day on the barbecue behind you. There is a working fireplace, plus air conditioning in bedrooms.

This is a perfect location if you like a good stroll. One can walk along the beach to Ferragudo (less than 1 km away) and either buy dinner from one of the fresh fish shops or have dinner in one of the restaurants. One can take a boat trip from nearby Portimao to Silves for lunch and back, or why not head into the Monchique mountains for a walk and try local speciality chicken Piri Piri? Portimao is also a great 'foodie' stop off and is host to an annual sardine festival of great note. For history and stunning scenery, we suggest a day trip to Sagres itself. The beach is a gentle stroll from the villa (approx 50 m). Golf is within 15-20 mins and tennis at Carvoeiro in five minutes drive. Faro airport is under an hour away.

The villa is located at the top of a cliff overlooking the ocean so naturally the boundaries should be respected (please do not step outside the fenced area). On the edge of the cliff there is a public footpath so occasional intrepid walkers may pass by.
