In Caribbean-style architecture, spaces are defined by airy octagonal gazebos and high cedar ceilings. Pretty blue and white fabrics and cool marble floors are throughout. Each bedroom opens to a sitting area for private afternoon naps or all-day gazing at the changing light on the Caribbean Sea ~ practically at your doorstep.

Four bedrooms and the living room are connected by a long-furnished marble veranda. The veranda adjoins the pool terrace, where cool drinks and evening hors d`oeuvres are served under the palm trees. Most weeks, the butler's special treat is dinner on the beach.

On calm evenings, you may see our local fishermen laying their nets by torchlight. If the night produces a good catch, they'll return early in the morning with fresh fish or lobster to sell to Maud, the Serenity cook, for tonight's dinner.

Serenity shares a basketball hoop and private tennis court with neighboring Tranquillity (racquets and balls provided). Combining Serenity by the Sea and Tranquillity creates an 11-bedroom compound with 2 pools, a tennis court, a long beachfront, and a staff of 10. These remarkable waterfront villas are a favorite for weddings and family reunions. Both villas are child-friendly and very private from each other.

If you've left your pets behind while you are on vacation, be advised that Serenity is home to our beloved pups: They love romps on the beach with guests, adore children, and socks! But they can be kept away should you not wish them to be in your space.

Accommodations

Three 400-square-foot bedrooms are equal in size ~ soft and romantic with king-size beds. Six softly curtained French doors open from each bedroom to the long verandah and access to the sea just steps away. The smaller Bedroom 4 is located between the Master Bedroom and Bedroom 3. All bedrooms are air-conditioned.

Bedroom 1 (Master Suite) ~ 420 sq. ft.
Extremely private on the far west end. King-size bed, cable television. It opens to the large private gazebo where guests will find their eye-opener coffee tray each morning. The en-suite bathroom has a walk-in shower and double sink vanity. The inside bathroom opens to a second outdoor Jungle Shower, also very private.

Bedroom 2 ~ 400 sq. ft.
Privately located on the far east end. King-size bed, cable television, next to the swimming pool. The mirrored en-suite bathroom has a walk-in shower.

Bedroom 3 ~ 400 sq. ft.
Optional king-size or twin beds, cable television. The en-suite bathroom has a deep bathtub and a shower combination. Also, a very private, whimsical Jungle Shower accessed through French doors (favorite of parents and children alike). This bedroom connects to Bedroom 4 for the convenience of family units. Families in Bedrooms 3 and 4 can share the connecting outdoor Jungle Shower.

Bedroom 4 ~ 200 sq. ft.
Favorite for children, also suitable for adults. Optional king-size or twin beds, cable television, en-suite bathroom with walk-in shower. A connecting door opens to Bedroom 3 for the convenience of parents and children. A louvered window also opens between these connecting rooms. Parents or nannies can adjust the louvers to stay open for monitoring or closed for privacy at night. Bedroom 4 guests can also access the indoor and outdoor showers of Bedroom 3.

Please note: Serenity by the Sea is located on a stretch of waterfront however, the beach may encounter increased seaweed or reduced water clarity during the rainy seasons in May and October, as well as due to fluctuating ocean currents and weather patterns.
